My nephew is going on a long flight to the UK.  He loves animals.  On the plane, he needs something that he can play with and keep him occupied in a small space.  The pieces have to be able to be stored flat in a snaplock bag that can go in his pocket.

E TeReo

 CDescription: In TeReo we were focusing on whakataukis. So far we have done 2 one was hē aha Te mea Nui o Te ao. He tangata he tangata he tangata witch ment what is the most important thing is the world people people people. A whakatauki is a proverb or a saying. Our second one was nou te roro nauki Te roro Ka ora Ai Te iwi witch ment with your basket and my basket we will live. Instead of food we thought it would be our knowledge. The first week we had to draw a person that you look up to or you could draw your self. The second week we had 3 weeks to weave a paper bag and then a flax bag.

Feedback/Feedforward: I like how you had a discription of the whakataukis. I have no Feedforward.
Evaluation: next time I  could try and come to schools on Mondays more because I was sick on the day we did the flax weaving.

In class we watched a video about how to make a tennis ball. We weren't allowed to say anything about making it. We wrote some words down about what you see and what they look like. I saw some things that look like caps. So I did a soda story with Edward. This is my story.

Mathex portfolio post

description: Mathex is where you have 30 minutes to complete questions. 15 minutes on quick fire questions and 15 on slow questions. We did lots of practices with James and David. The year 5-13 do it. We had 2 teams for year six and five. Out of 50 teams my team got 21st and the other team got 2nd.

When I was working I had to communicated with my team. We had to do parts in slow maths like I would calculate and Sam would get the numbers. I got better at working in a team. 
Working out harder questions by my self so when I work in a team I have more knowledge

Naming of the clouds

Description: I class we had to write about the namings of clouds. Let me run you through the protease first we went to a reading work shop and watched a clip and took notes. The we had to do a hand burger. In the had burger the top bun is the introduction there are three in the middle for topic and the bottom bun is conclusion and summary. Then we had to write a story. Here is my story.
Story: " Luke Howard" Yelled the teacher. Luke Howard was fasanated in clouds. He didn't listen in class much because he was to busy gazing out the window. He wanted to name them. He was a pharmacist but he was to fasanated in clouds and changed to a meteorologist. Using his knowledge in laten he named the clouds. There was cumulus witch ment heap and pile, cirrus layed thin stratus sheet and spread that was only three he made up more and they where the three main clouds there was statocumulus witch ment heap and spread, cirrostratus layed and spread and there also was nimbus and that's all three of them mixed together. There are seven at the time but now there are ten.

Design thinking

In class today for design thinking we did another plane. This weeks plane is way better than tast weeks because it flies and last weeks one didn't. Next time I can get rid of the straw in the middle and have a triangle in the middle.


In maths we did algebra. We had to make a pattern and work out a formula. Here is a formula to work it out and the patterns.
